Protest the Illinois State Board of Investments (ISBI) and State Treasurer Michael Frerichs. Demand that Illinois tax dollars stop funding occupation and genocide.

Not only does ISBI invest state employee pension funds in companies that are complicit in the Israeli occupation of Palestine, but its Vice Chair, State Treasurer Michael Frerichs, just renewed $15 million in Israeli bonds, bringing Illinois' total investments in Israeli bonds over $135 million! Shame on Frerichs!

Israeli bonds directly fuel the genocide of the Palestinian people, and the apartheid state's criminal occupation of Palestinian land-and Frerichs is investing our public money in this racist, Zionist, genocidal campaign.

For years, ISBI and Michael Frerichs have gone unchallenged in public meetings for their war-profiteering investments, but we changed that in December, when we protested and packed public comment at their quarterly board meeting to demand full divestment from companies complicit in genocide and Israeli bonds. Join us again this March to demand that Michael Frerichs and ISBI divest Illinois public monies from genocide and war!
