It's time for A Just Chi's October General Meeting with @FreePressAction on Wednesday, October 21st from 6-7:30pm over Zoom! Free Press Action will join us for a teach-in about Solidarity Over Surveillance: a hub for individuals, communities and organizations to join the fight against corporate and government-sponsored surveillance.

They're fighting to:

- Stop data brokers from selling our most sensitive information to law enforcement;
- Protect dissent, privacy and anonymity in an age of AI-powered surveillance;
- Empower people to use open-records requests to expose their local and state governments’ surveillance partnerships;
- Challenge the government’s weaponization of domestic-terrorism powers; and
- Fight the inevitability of AI everywhere.

Join us to learn more about the fight in Illinois!
