Content: Every Tuesday and Thursday through Oct. 7. 2717 W. Madison, Chicago. Join Walls Turned Sideways fall youth workshop to learn about self identity and local history of Garfield Park through poetry and writing. This workshop aims to build agency to be active in their community through art, writing and transformation of place. Workshop students will learn about the 5th City Project, which was intended to “catalyze the needed changes in the people and on the ground.” Youth Participants will learn to : Read and Write poetry Taught by Toussaint Daniels and Nick Haselrig
