Content: @canaanwellspring, a nonprofit Palestinian youth dabke dance troupe based in St. Louis, will be coming to Chicago NEXT WEEK on Monday September 7th! Canaan Wellspring is bringing Jafra, the first Palestinian cultural production in the USA, to the Athenaeum Center for Thought & Culture in Chicago for the first time. Jafra explores Palestinian culture through dabke, music, traditional clothing, storytelling, and history. Proceeds from the performance will be donated to HEAL Palestine, allowing the production to support humanitarian work while celebrating Palestinian cultural heritage. Monday, September 7, 2026
