Content: This Black August, join the South Side Community Art Center and Red Clay Dance Company for Movement as Memory—an interactive community dance experience inspired by the enduring legacy of Katherine Dunham. Rooted in SSCAC’s longstanding commitment to celebrating Black artistic expression across disciplines, this workshop explores how movement carries cultural memory, strengthens community, and connects us across generations through guided movement, historical reflection, and collective conversation. This workshop includes guided movement and is intended for ages 13+. No prior dance experience is necessary. In partnership with @redclaydance
