Content: Join us for the Chicago Teachers Union and CTU Back 2 School Summer Jam on Saturday, August 15, from 10 a.m.–3 p.m. at the Chicago Teachers Union Center (1901 W. Carroll Ave.)! Families can enjoy a day of community, fun, and free resources, including school supplies, backpacks, haircuts, and more to help students start the school year strong. Don't miss the Environmental Justice (EJ) Freedom School Community Fair, where this year's student leaders will share the impact of the EJ Freedom School and unveil the EJ Freedom School Zine, a student-created publication documenting their exploration of Chicago's long history of environmental justice, community advocacy, and place-based environmental education.
