✊🏾 Join us to honor Disability Rights Month with our public study of ‘Disability and Empire: Class, U.S. Imperialism, and the Struggle for Disability Justice.’ We will explore the history of the struggle for disability rights in the United States.

‘Disability and Empire’ brings visibility to the liberation struggle of people with disabilities with a class and internationalist perspective. The book examines the social construction of disability, the history of the disability rights movement, and how U.S. imperialism contributes to disabling people across the world.
