Chicago in Solidarity With the Burnin Kite Festival

Content: Join the global week of action in solidarity with the Kite Festival in the West Bank village of Burin! The festival is an annual source of joy and steadfastness for children living under apartheid, and an opportunity for people around the world to show support. We’ll gather at the top of Cricket Hill by Montrose Beach on Sunday, July 12 from 1-3pm to make and fly kites, share a potluck lunch, and learn about ways to support the Burin community. Families with children are welcome.
