As part of this year’s celebration, SSCAC will present Freedom Portraits, a participatory activation inspired by Black memory, family photographs, and traditions of self-documentation. Get your portrait taken and leave with a personalized keepsake honoring freedom, memory, and self-definition. The Juneteenth Freedom Market brings together artists, cultural organizations, entrepreneurs, and community members for an evening celebrating Black creativity, culture, and collective joy.
