Happy Pride Everyone! We remember and honor the origins of Pride as a protest, and we hold this truth all year long! Want to start the process of getting your name and/or gender marker changed during Pride Month?! Live in Cook County? We will be @transchicago on June 10, 2026 from 1pm-4pm and @bravespacealliance on June 17, 2026 from 1pm-4pm. Arrive by 4pm to receive assistance.

Please bring a photo ID and birth certificate if you have access to them. If you do not, we can assist you with getting them.

If you are seeking a name change and have any criminal convictions, please bring any information you may have about your case(s) with you. We will need to know information about your conviction(s) to be able to assist you with your name change.

If you are coming to the in person Mobilization, would like to join our waitlist for our virtual assistance, or if you live outside of Cook County, fill out an intake at the link in our bio.

If you come in person, please be prepared to wait. This is a drop in space, and we are never sure how many people will attend. Bring a snack, book, friend, or something to keep you occupied while you wait.
