In our fight, we have won tenant and homeowner protections in the Woodlawn Housing Preservation Ordinance and Jackson Park Housing Pilot Ordinance. Our tenants continue to build unions in our neighborhoods to win better conditions and stop displacement from our homes. The developers have a plan for our neighborhood, but we do too: we’re assembling June 27th to update the community about our ongoing organizing and continue to plan our next steps to build neighborhood power.
