Legal Support Hotlines:

Neighboring is a Verb

Content:

Neighbors bring you soup when your mom is sick. Neighbors share laughter in the backyard. Neighbors shovel your walkway. And when oppressive policies and practices grow more and more violent, neighbors show up.

While Midway Blitz is over federal agents continue to be active, as we saw locally today, and many families are still grappling with the impact of trauma, separation and lost resources. It is a challenging time but our community continues to activate and stand against hate.

Join Sanctuary Evanston as we dive further into this concept of neighboring as resistance.

This is a city-wide community gathering where you can learn what’s happening in our community, build relationships with neighbors, and take action together. Learn about ICE response and Signal alerts, support community aid efforts, and take part in hands-on activities like art-making.

Please share widely and find Sanctuary Evanston on social media for more resources!
