Legal Support Hotlines:

Defending the Student Movement for Palestine

Posted by Andy1917

Content:

Victories, lessons and visions for a liberated future.

JOIN US to learn about how the student movement for Palestine is resisting repression by the Trump administration and complicit universities — and how faculty, staff, and movement lawyers have been joining and defending them.

Last year, Palestine Legal received nearly 300% the number of requests for legal support in 2025 than it did the year before the US-Israel genocide in Gaza began, with the overwhelming majority coming from students and faculty. Our recently-released year-in-review report shares data, analysis, and client stories about last year’s major trends in anti-Palestinian repression — but also the resilience that kept Palestinians and allies speaking out, and the victories that the movement for Palestinian liberation won along the way.

The last year has cemented an important truth: if we allow our right to stand for Palestinian liberation to be trampled, all of our fundamental rights will be in jeopardy. It is vital that we organize across movements and across our relationships to and roles within the university as a site of struggle.

Featured speakers will include:

Robin DG Kelley, Distinguished Professor of American History at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA)
Dima Khalidi, Executive Director of Palestine Legal
Corinna Mullin, Faculty at Brooklyn College and John Jay
Antony Wood, UC Berkeley student organizer
