Content: Join NE Lake County Indivisible, PSL, IWLC, DSA, and a coalition of Lake County partners on International Workers’ Day and A Day Without Immigrants as we demand: Families over fortunes! No ICE! No war! If you have been with us for the No Kings protests… If you have heard of the 3.5% rule… If you are tired of being ignored by your politicians… If you think it’s time the billionaires felt a pull at their purse strings… If you are outraged by Trump using YOUR tax dollars to fund terror across the nation and overseas… Friday May 1 at 2pm, we will gather at Corrine J. Rose Park at 412 S Lewis Ave, Waukegan. We will march 1.7 miles, beginning and ending at the park. Folks with mobility issues are invited to bring chairs and station themselves at the park. After our march, we will feature compelling speakers and calls to action.
