Content: Ujimaa Medics are Black healthcare professionals, activists, educators, healers, neighbors, mothers, brothers, sisters, fathers, and cousins who believe that we are the ones we've been waiting for. They are all community care responders that could no longer stand feeling helpless, terrified and devastated as they attended funeral after funeral. Ujimaa is Kiswahili for "collective work and responsibility." They share a deep love for Black people and work every day to build whole, self-determined resilient communities.
