As if everything wasn’t already happening everywhere all at once, it also happens to be St. Patrick’s Day Season. If like us, dissociating into a pint of green beer to distract yourself from the horrors isn’t cutting it anymore, we’ve put together a calendar of values aligned programming for the month of March.

Events for Sunday, March 22nd (events on other days listed as separate entries):

* 4 PM - Chicago Irish for Palestine public meeting and action debrief at the Little Red Nest

* 6 PM - Queer Irish music lesson and session at the Little Red Nest

Some of it is events we’ve organized ourselves, while others are things that are being put on by people in our extended networks, but what they all share in common is a refusal to engage in avoidance of difficult truths about our position within empire. Whether you’ve been with us from the very beginning or are only just now looking for ways to get involved, we hope you’ll come join us in the never ending project of complicating what it means to be in diaspora in beautiful and powerful ways, because none of us are free until all of us are.
