Content: Join us for a screening and discussion of the @peoplesforumnyc class ‘Hidden Histories of Rebellion in the U.S. — The Army That Turned on the War: GI Resistance in Vietnam,’ taught by Mike Prysner, an anti-war organizer and Iraq War veteran. This class dives into how soldiers who opposed the war spurred an internal revolt that would ultimately end with the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Vietnam. The lessons from this class are especially relevant as we work to build the anti-war movement in opposition to the U.S. and Israel’s unprovoked and illegal war on the people of Iran, and the growing threat of sending U.S. troops into yet another senseless war in the Middle East.
