Content: Join us this Saturday, February 28, in Aurora for a Black History Month discussion on Black revolutionaries they didn't teach you about in school. The organizers, fighters, and visionaries who shaped the course of liberation movements here and across the globe. From Black Reconstruction to the freedom struggles of today, history shows that oppressed and working class people have always been the force that changes the world. The stories of these revolutionary figures' hidden histories reminds us that progress has never been handed down from above. It has been won through collective struggle. Come learn, reflect, and discuss how their legacies continue to guide movements for justice today.
