Join SJP UChicago and the Defense Committee of Malik Muhammad for a letter writing event on February 9, 5:30-7:15PM at 5733 S University Ave!

Malik Muhammad is a Black and Palestinian political prisoner from Chicago, whom the state incarcerated as a result of their actions during the 2020 George Floyd uprisings.
Malik recently joined the courageous Palestine Action prisoner T. Hoxha on her hunger strike in the U.K.
Over 10,000 Palestinian political prisoners continue to face waves of systematic terror and abuse by Zionist and imperialist leaders. This letter writing event is intended to build out Malik’s network of support in Chicago, and in particular to keep them updated on international news. Malik needs political conversations that can keep them engaged in the struggle.
Both locally and internationally, we must continue to fight to free all of our political prisoners!
