Content: Call for support. Brother Abdul Malik is challenging his conviction, which was the result of a trial steeped in police misconduct and allegations of torture. After years of legal fights, vital hearings challenging Abdul-Malik’s wrongful incarceration will be on: Wednesday 11/12 & Thursday 11/13, 9:30am at Cook County (Room 306). The judge will decide whether to strike Abdul Malik’s conviction, and then the state will decide if it will try him once more. Malik is wrongfully convicted and one of the youngest torture survivors that is still incarcerated.
