Call for Court Support for Br. Clayborn “Khadzi” Smith, an organizer, former jailhouse lawyer, and BBO community member.

After three decades of incarceration, he successfully appealed his case and was released two years ago. The state now threatens to incarcerate him again.

The state is threatening to overturn his appeal by invoking a dangerous new legal precedent. This precedent questions the validity of the testimony of survivors of police torture.

It is important that we show up on November 13, because it is possible the state will try to bring our brother into custody. We must prevent this in any way we can - and the most effective way is packing the room.
