Content: Growing Community Power, Sovereignty & Solidarity - A Chicago Teach-in How can we use this moment of social, political, economic, and ecological crises to build the just, democratic, and sustainable world we desire? This November, people around the world are gathering at dozens of local Next System Teach-Ins to tackle this question, learn from each other and from innovators who are building alternatives to the current system that can sustain the kind of world we all deserve. 1-5 pm, optional networking 5-7 pm Location TBD
A 1/2 Day Convening to exchange practices, possibilities and strengthen our network of co-creating our desired next system here in Chicago. Featuring Open Space participant-led conversations energized by guest speakers, local stories of practice, arts and cultural presentations, local food, and embodied practices. Topics to explore include community-led development, restorative justice, food sovereignty, solidarity economies, environmental justice, healing and inner system transformation, and more.
