Content: Lakesha Harris has been inside Cook County Jail for more than 9 months where she has been forced to endure the horrifying conditions at CCJ. Those 9 months of her life have been stolen by this system, where she has missed her children's birthdays, graduations, and enjoying time with her family. Lakesha was defending herself when she was attacked inside her car. Instead of investigating what had happened, CPD quickly arrested Lakesha and threw her inside Cook County Jail where she was charged for attempted murder. Lakesha and her family are living through the American nightmare. The system wants to throw Lakesha away, its up to us to get together and fight back.
