Content: It’s time to fight for a city budget that serves OUR communities and not billionaires. The big ugly bill cut services across the board while handing out tax breaks to the wealthy. We deserve better. We need more investment in youth jobs and programs, mental health services, and affordable housing in the upcoming City Budget. The Big Ugly Bill has cut healthcare, SNAP, and education funding, and is paying for it by giving the Billionaires a tax break. We will discuss proposals to taax the rich corporations and Billionaires, redirect funds from police vacancies, and how we can fight to win these. Refreshments from Mindful Bites.
