Even in challenging times, we know that we must also create the spaces for our joy and the care needed to sustain the work.

For Filipino-American History Month (October), AFIRE is hosting Piyesta sa Pamayanan, a community gathering for healing and rejuvenation. We are inspired by those who have provided these spaces to us, and we are sending the love back out to our communities. We will offer activities for restorative movement, art, writing, sign-making, and games at the HANA Center. We’re getting excited by some of our facilitators, so mark your calendars - more details and a registration link coming soon!!!
