Next, on Thursday August 28th, JOIN US to pack the court for Elias Gomez! Elias Gomez's 1995 conviction was based on evidence presented by police officers who were later found guilty of corruption. Despite this revelation, no steps have been taken to reevaluate his case or question the validity of the evidence used against him. FREE ELIAS GOMEZ! Later that morning, at 11:30am, JOIN US to pack the court for Gerald Reed! Gerald Reed was wrongfully convicted of a double murder in 1990. After years of persistent, dedicated effort from activists, family, and Reed himself, his sentence was commuted by the governor in 2021 and Gerald Reed is now free! As a consequence of his torture and wrongful imprisonment, Reed has other serious medical issues resulting from the torture he endured. He is now seeking a certificate of innocence, for which the judge will make his written decision at this upcoming court date. JUSTICE FOR GERALD REED!
