Join us to hear from delegates who traveled to El Salvador from June 23 to 29, invited by the Network of Deported Migrants on a delegation organized by the SHARE Foundation and Centro Romero.

Delegates will share what they learned from:

* the testimonies of deported immigrants about the shock they suffered after being kidnapped and deported after living in the U.S. for many years

* the testimonies of the relatives of innocent women and youth who disappeared under the Estado de Exception

* visits to programs for cancer prevention and the Seeds of Hope vegetable gardens

The August 26th reportback will be in person. The September 18th reportback will be via zoom (see the ChicagoActivismHub.org entry on that date for details).
